I am a coffee enthusiast. I drink around 2 to 3 coffees a day, sometimes more (never less). I was the happiest woman on earth when my husband bought a Keurig® 2 years ago. I find single serve machines brew delicious coffee and avoid wasting it, too. You brew only what you need, nothing more. Depending on the day, I either grind my coffee or use coffee pods. I use coffee grains because I don’t find all my favourite brands in coffee pods. So, when I heard that my favourite coffee brands -Maxwell House, Gevalia and Nabob – are now available in Kraft Keurig®* Compatible Pods, I was delighted. I find coffee pods very convenient for busy mornings and when I have friends over. So let me share my experience with The New Kraft Keurig®* Compatible Pods. Sit and have a sip.
The New Kraft Keurig®* Compatible Pods: which one is my favorite and why?
Kraft Canada generously offered this nice basket with all the new Kraft Keurig®* Compatible Pods
- Maxwell House Keurig®*Compatible Pods
- NabobKeurig®*Compatible Pods
- Gevalia Keurig®*Compatible Pods
It was delivered early afternoon and I could not wait until the morning to try the flavours. I usually have a coffee right after lunch while reading my paper. It’s my Zen moment of the day and I appreciated not having to grind my coffee. Since I drink quite a few coffees per day, I usually go for medium roast flavors. So I tried a Gevalia Keurig®*Compatible Pod.
The next morning, my husband and I tried the Nabob Keurig®*Compatible Podsin a medium roast. It saved us at least 10 minutes (which is huge during the morning routine). We did not have to grind our coffee and fill in the rechargeable pod. Besides, we could have used different flavours whereas when we buy coffee beans we are stuck with one flavour.
Right after my morning bike ride, I drink my second coffee of the day. As I am always rushing to start work, I enjoyed the convenience of the new Kraft Keurig®* Compatible Pods. This time, I went with the Maxwell House Keurig®*Compatible Pod.
The New Kraft Keurig®* Compatible Pods were pretty handy during the morning routine. Just remove the inner filter, add water to the machine and you have a delicious coffee within seconds. No mess, no brew and no pod cleaning.
My final verdict
Although I enjoyed every flavour, during different times of the day, I loved the Gevalia Keurig®*Compatible Pods best because the coffee was rich and not bitter. It is coffee the Swedish way. It is just waiting to be savored. I tried the medium roast signature blend but it is also available in dark house blend and Italian roast.
My husband’s verdict
My husband loved the Maxwell House Keurig®*Compatible Pods. It’s pure Arabica coffee, fresh and strong, he says. He tried the Dark roast and you can also find them in the House Blend and Decaf flavors.
