This Mother’s Day, give mom a totally unique memory gift with Yourkidvid, an awesome service that lets you turn your cellphone videos into beautiful feature videos. The best part: you don’t have to be a professional video editor to do it! In fact, you don’t have to edit anything! Just select your service, upload your videos and let their pros handle the rest.

Making Memories Come to Life with Yourkidvid

I have dozens of videos of my son sitting on my computer, going back nearly 9 years now! I always say I’m going to do something with them, but honestly, I work a good 50 hours a week on the computer. The time I have left over goes to actually making video-worth memories with my son, not editing them! Although I come from a family filled with media professionals, I myself unfortunately did not inherit their editing talent. I’m the writer of the family. Video editing programs make my head spin.

The idea of taking all those videos and just handing them over to someone else to deal with is so appealing to me. You can upload videos from several different locations, including Dropbox, GoogleDrive or OneDrive. This is perfect for me because I have videos in every single one of those locations (I am neurotic about saving important things to more than one place).

When your video is done, you get a link to download it and share it. Share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, through email or post it on your own site. This isn’t just some old “automatic video editing” service, either. The team behind Yourkidvid is made up of professionals from Hollywood, so your Mother’s Day gift will be given the attention it deserves. It’s really a great way to show mom that even though there are 85 million other mothers in the world, she’s #1 in your eyes. Take a look at the video to see Yourkidvid in action:

  1. We take a lot of videos also and then end up just getting put on a hard drive and forgotten about. This would be a good project to do with them.

  2. It hasn’t been until recently that we got a camera that can take videos. So I missed out on all those years of great videos. But this would be such a cool gift to get on Mother’s day.

  3. This would definitely make handing all my videos much easier. And I really should back up my videos in all of those locations and I havent yet!

  4. I agree with your statement “handing them over to someone else to deal with is so appealing to me”. There are so many hours in the day, and I would not have the time to do this myself right now. Any of the kids baby videos compiled for me would be great.

  5. This is a great gift for any mom or grandma. Especially a grandma that does not get to see their grand kids very often.
