iHomework:  This is a great app for your middle school and high school students with a varied schedule.  Also great for college students and even mom and dad.  It allows you to keep track of all of your assignments in one easy app location.  Best part?  The ease of setting reminders that help you to stay on track and know when items are due to be turned in.

Any.Do:  This app is similar to iHomework with the ability to track all of your assignments, schedules and obligations.  It’s not only great for students, but tons of parents will find it useful in their daily life as well.  If you need a bit more organization in your schedule this is the app for you.

STOPit:  This is one of our favorite back to school apps that helps students learn more about bullying and easily be able to report cyberbullying as they see it happening.  This is a must for all students, and a great safety tool to prevent further bullying attacks.

Scrbd:  If you have teens or college students needing books and information for research papers this year – you can’t go wrong with the app Scrbd.  A huge lilbrary of books and resources for just about any topic you could cover at the touch of your fingers.  This one is a great resource to have, especially for the older students.

Kahn Academy:  This awesome free review app is perfect for the mathematician or the student who struggles in math.  Tons of free reviews, worksheets and curriculum at the touch of your fingers for review and explanation.  This is one of the best and most widely used apps for students you will find in the marketplace.

I had no idea all these apps were available for students. There seems to be an app for absolutely everything these days! Thanks for sharing the list.

  5. I like the my grades and homework app. That’s a cool one when the kids say they want more electronics time. 🙂

  6. Omg a list of apps that I’ve seriously never heard of a single one lol… I’m an app junkie so I will have to check some of these out!

  7. This is a good list of resources. Our oldest is starting a much more rigorous academic schedule this fall, so we can use some help staying on top of due dates. Eliminating Sunday night panic (oh my god, it’s due tomorrow! why didn’t you tell me tomorrow is October!?) would be a-mazing!

  8. Some of these do sound like they would help keep students organized and not let them forget important assignments until the last second! Back when (in the dark ages) I used to do that all the time!

  9. These are some great apps for students. Back when I was in college (it seems so long ago even though it was only a little under 2 years ago,) I would use iHomework and I really loved it!
