  1. I remember seeing The Neverending Story in the theatre when I was a kid. I loved it so much. I should show it to my boys.

  2. My Mom watches a lot of kid movies with my nephew and gets into them…I must admit…I do too…there are plenty of enjoyable titles to enjoy nowadays. Although it made me ball my eyes out on two distinct occasions (the Rock Man and the horse in the mud scene), I still love The Neverending Story.

  3. These are all great titles to sit and watch with the grandparents. Another I would like to add is the BoxCar Children. My kids and their grandparents watched this together and had a great time. If you have not seen it, go now lol.

  4. My kids are always watching something when they go to their grandparents to visit. It’s like a slumber party, with movies, snacks and scary stories. My parents love to spend time with their grandkids and watching a movie together is a favorite for them.

  5. I love every single one of these movies, and I love watching them with all the kids in my life! My favorite has to be Charlie and the Chocolate factory! It’s so fun to watch and it brings back great memories!

  6. Dolphin Tale is a movie that is near and dear to us! It was filmed in our hometown, and we have been to that aquarium many, many times. Winter is a beautiful animal, and I love that the movie helped bring attention to our area in Florida. Everyone should try to visit if they can!

  7. I so agree with this list! :) Movies with the grandparents can be great and so much fun! My fave from the list is “Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory” definitely one of my faves. How fun is it that he got to go through the factory with his grandpa! :)

  8. I watched some of these with my kids when they were younger! I saw Dolphin Tale a while ago and loved the story, I need to see the second one. Great list, no grandkids yet but these are great movies.

  9. My kids I think have watched all of these movies with my mom. I haven’t even seen any of the movies other than Willie Wonka and The Princes Diaries. I may have seen The Neverending Story… I really can’t remember.
