What exactly is a Gro-clock sleep trainer? When you were a kid, did you ever get up before the sun and go in and wake your parents up? Your parents probably told you to go back to bed until you saw the sun. Or maybe your child has a tough time sleeping at night and staying in bed and gets up a lot thinking it’s time to get up? This is a great little clock for kids are learning to stay in bed. How do they know they must stay in bed or that it is time to get up? It features a colorful face that has stars at night and a bright sun during the day. The face at night glows blue, and the little stars that go around the face, disappear as time goes on throughout the night. Sort of like a countdown to wake-up time. When it is time to get up, the face changes to a bright yellow sun! Tell your kids to ‘stay in bed until you see the sun’. You have the option of also setting an alarm to go off. For the older kids, who are learning to tell time, you can also display the time digitally during the countdown to wake-up.
You might be asking ‘What if I want my child to stay in bed longer on the weekends?’ (Don’t we all?) The Gro-clock sleep trainer comes with 2 settings, weekend and weekday. An added bonus is it acts as sort of a night light for your little ones. Although you can adjust the glow brightness.
How sleep can improve children’s health

I have one of these, it did not work out. My son would play with the buttons, and unplug it. There was no where in his room to put it up high out of his reach (because he is also a climber), so we eventually just gave up on it.
If your child is a manic button pusher like mine, this may not be for you.
This looks like a great idea for a gift. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t have children but I’m sure this would be really helpful for parents with little ones. It’s really cute
We could use this for weekends when my daughter wants to get up extra early! I don’t have a problem with her during the week but when it comes to the weekend, she wants to get up at the crack of dawn when mom and dad just want to sleep in! lol
We have a clock kind of like this for my six year old, but I have to admit I haven’t enforced the times in the morning when the light changes and he’s allowed to get up. I really need to work on that with the kiddos.
I really need one of these! My daughter is up with the roosters every morning. She has slept once past 7:20 in 8 years!
I have heard great things about these. My daughter has always been an early riser, I am not lol. I wish I got this earlier for her.
This would be great for my grandson,he gets up with the birds
This looks like a handy little clock. Might be something my son should have.
This looks like it would have been great for my daughter when she was little. I need to get one for my niece.
Looks like a good clock. I have a similar one for my child.
I have many friends who need to hear about this! Thank you so much for sharing. They are going to love it.
I wish I had a Gro-clock sleep trainer when we were trying to get Abby to learn to go to sleep in her own room. I’m happy to know about them now though because my daughter is trying to conceive. They would make a great gift idea.
I am pretty sure it is against my kiddos religion to sleep when the sun is up! This clock would be a great way to teach him what time he is allowed to get up.
