  1. I love these ideas! Seeing your carrot-raisin salad recipe immediately blew me back to when I was 7 years old. It was a favorite salad for my mom to make for me. :) (I don’t know if I could call it a ‘favorite’, but I enjoyed it enough… enough, apparently, that she made it every week..!) She also made sandwiches for me with chicken, lettuce, apple, raisins, and walnuts. Again, it was more gourmet than my palette could appreciate (I was always trying to dig out the nuts), but the integration of fruits and vegetables into lots of dishes was great. I’ll def have to do these for any kids I may have! ;)

  2. Most kids don’t like vegetables but I think it’s up to the parents to train them on how to appreciate the tastes and textures of veggies. These recipes look fun and colorful. I like that they consist of healthy ingredients that will be great to boost the kid’s health.

  3. These are great ideas for getting your kids to eat more veggies. I am thankful my kids will eat most veggies. I love the idea of mixing in fruit to the salads to get more veggies in

  4. My kids will eat a reg salad as long as it’s drowned in ranch lol. They have tried a fruit salad but that’s as far as they will go. They even wanted me to put dressing on the fruit salad
