Pear Muffins: Delicious Recipes For Kids (And Older ones)

pear-muffin-recipes-for-kids

Muffin recipes for kids are one of my favorite things to make because they’re so versatile. You can use them as a breakfast or a healthy snack. Plus you can put so many different things into muffins!

I used to make these pear muffins when my daughter was a toddler. She loved muffins and pears, so I thought it would be a great idea to blend them together. The one thing I love about pears is their juicy texture. Unfortunately, I find they don’t stay fresh very long. They had to be consumed quickly. One of the great way to use them and avoid waste is to mix them in your muffin recipes for kids.

Another great way is to use them in an upside down cake. But if your kids are tiny bit picky about fruits, favor the muffin recipes as you can blend them in the mixture and they won’t notice it. I know many parents prefer that their kids know what they eat but frankly, as long as my kids eat fruits,  I am not picky about the means. I figure if they like the taste, they will ask for more and I can tell them. At a toddler age, we are developing their taste buds. Their knowledge will come after.

Most of the pear muffin recipes for kids you will find online will use canned pears. While it is a good compromise, I prefer using fresh pears. Nothing like the taste of fresh fruits in baked dishes. Baking releases all their delicious flavour.

Now let’s drool over this muffin recipe for kids. Make sure to double the batch as kids (and older ones) will eat them right fresh from the oven!
