Jungle Snack Ideas
Aside from serving popcorn in safari hats (lined with paper towels), the Jungle Book is actually a great theme for incorporating healthy snacks into your movie night! Make it a learning experience by researching the different animals with your kids and finding out what they eat. Now, I don’t think you’ll be incorporating anything from Kaa’s diet into the mix, but how about one of our favorite berry recipes to eat more like Baloo? We all know King Louie LOVES bananas, right? Start with our granola snack mix and incorporate dried banana slices and other “jungle-themed” fruits and nuts into it.
Jungle Movie Marathon
If you want to make it a whole marathon night, a few other fun jungle-themed movies include Disneynature’s Chimpanzee, Madagascar and Jungle 2 Jungle. Check out our favorite good family movies about animals or movies about nature for more ideas.
Get Crafty!
Whip up a few of our super easy and cute Jungle Cardboard Critters so your kids can continue the fun after the movie ends. Another great craft idea that your kids can actually eat: these Madagascar Orange Lions!
The great thing about the Jungle Book and a jungle-themed movie night: you can go in SO many directions! Of course, you can just whip up our delicious coconut punch drink for kids, kick back and watch the movie! Whatever you decide to do, as long as you’re spending time together it will be fun!
