Crepe, Blueberry and Yogurt: an easy breakfast recipe for kids

My daughter is a picky eater, especially in the morning. She wakes up usually cranky and does not want to eat! I am always looking for easy breakfast recipes  for kids to satisfy her appetite. One of her favorite breakfast recipes is crepe. I usually prepare a large quantity during the weekend. I store it in the fridge. My mom recommends to freeze them but the kids don’t give them the chance to.

As my kids love chocolate, their  favorite breakfast recipe is crepe topped with a hazelnut  spread. Eating that on a daily basis is not  a healthy choice. I try to find other healthy and easy breakfast for my kids that I am sure they will love.

Since it is the berries season, I include them in most of our meals and desserts. Did you know that berries may prevent or delay glucose insulin spikes or sugar spikes. It means that adding berries to your breakfast or any other recipe for your kids and family is a very healthy choice.

The following easy breakfast recipe for kids is a hit at home: everybody loves it. Each member of the family adds the toppings they like!

  1. Don’t forget to read our past article on the many benefits of berries. Blueberries included can help with the spiking of insulin levels. Berries everyday, and wow! crepes! would be superb…

  2. I have a bunch of frozen blueberries and raspberries that I have to use up. My kids LOVE pancakes so I’m sure they’ll like this. They look delicious!
