Throwing a Sesame Street party? Wow your little guests with these easy and adorable Cookie Monster Oreo cookies! They’re easy to make and look fantastic on your party table! They’re also a fun sweet treat for kids after a long day of learning!
Cookie Monster is a classic for a good reason: he appeals to the cookie lover in all of us! I remember hearing a rumor a while back that Sesame Street was going to turn him into a Veggie Monster to help combat childhood obesity. While that’s not true , Cookie Monster does now eat a more balanced diet. I think that sweet treats are fine as long as you give them out in moderation. I also think that if you’re going to give a sweet treat, you should definitely try to make it as special as possible. These Cookie Monster Oreos are special enough for a party, yet easy enough to make as an occasional after school snack to celebrate a major accomplishment (like getting an A on that big test your child spent hours studying for).
