4 Easy Breakfast ideas to kick off school days OurFamilyWorld

Looking for easy breakfast ideas? We got you covered. As my father used to say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day! My parents used to wake me early enough to have the time to eat a healthy and delicious morning meal! I wasn’t a picky eater but my sister was! My mom used to serve different recipes to satisfy her! The following easy breakfast ideas were very popular at my parent’s and are popular among my kids! They are easy, healthy and can be fun to prepare!

 4 Easy Breakfast Ideas

Greek yogurt with blueberries and raspberries

Greek yogurt is rich in protein but sometime kids don’t like to eat it plain. I find it tastes better when you add some fruits. My kids add some maple syrup! It is delicious. You can prepare it in the morning! Check our other Greek Yogurt Smoothie  for another easy breakfast idea.

Crepe with blueberry and yogurt

Crepes are easy to make. You can even prepare them ahead of time and freeze them. Check out our crepe recipe for detailed preparation! I usually add some blueberries and yogurt! You can add any other fruits: bananas, peach, strawberries. If your kids don’t like yogurt, you can go with some cheese! My kids love it with a Nutella spread too! Who doesn’t love that? It is an easy breakfast meal! It can also be a great lunch idea: just add some lettuce, tuna and cheese!

Banana muffins

Banana Muffins: an easy breakfast idea

My son loves banana muffins. He helps me preparing them and eats them as a breakfast, after school snack! I usually cook a large quantity and freeze them in individual portions!

Yogurt muffin

My family enjoys yogurt. I usually purchase 2 packs of 24! I usually pay attention to the expiry date but sometimes I forget! If I notice that the yogurt will be spoiled, I cook them in this easy breakfast meal: yogurt muffins.

  1. Those muffins look delicious! My kids love having hard boiled eggs with sides of fruit and milk for breakfast. I can make the eggs the night before and even chop up the fruit if I need to.
