The Best Homemade Hamburgers

What’s the food that you’d rather enjoy in a restaurant than cook at home? For me, that’s hamburgers.

There’s nothing quite as mouthwatering as a restaurant hamburger that’s cooked to perfection, loaded with the most amazing toppings, and gently laid on a toasted and warmed bun. Oh my goodness!

I decided to experiment with a homemade hamburger recipe to see if my culinary skills and fresh ingredients could rival my favorite hamburger restaurant. The standard fare includes ground beef, egg, and bread crumbs. I used organic and grass-fed beef, organic eggs, and organic honey wheat bread crumbs to ensure the highest caliber of flavor in my homemade burger.

But here’s where things got interesting. If you follow our recipes, then you know that I add onion and garlic to nearly every recipe because, well, they make everything taste better! So naturally, I added dehydrated onion and garlic to my burger. A dash of ketchup and mustard are essential to the classic hamburger. Many recipes call for Worcestershire but I subbed that for Dale’s–the most flavorful marinade you will ever find! You can even make your own homemade recipe. If you have dry ranch mix, add a dash of that too for an extra burst of flavor.

First, whisk the egg, add the Dale’s, and let the dehydrated garlic and onion soak in that mixture. Then add the meat and remaining ingredients. It’s best to mix with your hands and then form into 4-8 patties, depending on how large you want your burgers.

Grill or cook in a skillet until browned and cooked to your preferred internal temperature. I’d say “Enjoy” but I have a feeling you and your family will definitely enjoy the best homemade hamburgers ever!
