You know what I love about salad recipes: they are so easy to make. You toss in few ingredients, add an easy homemade dressing and VOILA! If you add some protein like tuna or chicken , it will be a great healthy lunch recipe! For today’s salad recipe, I made a strawberry spinach salad with a maple syrup dressing! Its so refreshing!
Strawberry spinach salad recipe: mouthwatering summer recipe!
When I went to Costco last week, I bought this large bag of baby spinach! I wanted to prepare a delicious spinach lasagna for the kids and some spinach beef meat balls . Once those recipes cooked, I had lots of spinach on hand! Since the weather is warming up, I thought of preparing an easy salad recipe with this ingredient! My husband loves the spinach cranberry salad so he would probably like the strawberry one! Check out how to make this delicious salad recipe.
- 2 cups of washed spinach
- ¼ cup of strawberry halved
- ¼ cup of cherry tomatoes
- 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup of maple syrup
- 2 tsp of lime juice.
- Salt and pepper
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. Be careful for strawberry, they are fragile! So mix carefully
- In a measuring, mix the dressing ingredients and pour on the salad.
Voila! You have an easy summer salad recipe. It is very refreshing and it is beautiful too. It would be the perfect addition to a Mother’s Day brunch or any other events that you have planned for the season!
