You will get addicted to this easy dinner recipe: asparagus and noodles! It is perfect for those busy nights where dinner has to be prepared in less than 15 minutes! You can even save extra minutes by cutting the asparagus ahead of time and storing them in an airtight container. Don’t we love these quick recipes that are filling, healthy and budget friendly too! It is also a great vegetarian meal for large families or smaller ones. It helps to cut on meat costs during the summer season where the BBQ is our way to go to eat.
While asparagus is available all year long, I prefer using it only in the spring where it has the best flavor. Seasonal fruits and vegetables are the best: they are fresh and cost effective too. A bunch of fresh asparagus costs around $2.99 in the spring and almost $6 off season. I have never frozen asparagus in the past, but I might try it this year as I found out that my kids love this veggie too. They even asked more often for my grilled asparagus recipe! What more can a mom ask for? Now let’s see how you can make this easy dinner recipe in a flash.
