Luvocracy

I am totally addicted to creating wish lists. It’s probably one of my favorite “hobbies.” I kid you not, I actually sit on websites long into the night creating these incredibly organized and detailed lists of things I want. To be honest, I’ll probably never have enough money to buy all of it, but it still soothes my soul to play “what if?”  So when I checked out Luvocracy, it was like a wish-list maker’s dream come true.

Luvocracy is this crazy-cool site where you can create collections from all over the internet. It’s a totally visual experience, which just increases the excitement of adding to collections. Basically, you can add items from any place on the entire world wide web, so it’s like having all your wish lists in one spot. Plus you can add notes to each “Luv” so others can see what you enjoy about it.

Then, to sweeten the deal, you can actually shop directly from Luvocracy! Seriously! You click the “add to bag” button and complete your checkout right through the site. Wow, right? But wait, it gets even better! Say you find this great item for $25 and add it to your collection. You decide you want to buy it. Luvocracy doesn’t just say “okay, great, we’ll go ahead and buy it for you at that price.” Nope. Guess what they do instead? They look for a lower price! For you! Double wow! Plus, they’ll even handle the returns for you with their 30-Day return policy.

Valentine’s Day Shopping Made Easy with Luvocracy

With Valentine’s Day coming up, I created two different gift collections based on stuff I would love to receive. First, I’m a writer, so I created a Valentine’s Day Gifts for Writers collection. The collection features essentials such as books on writing and journals for jotting down ideas. Since I drink a ton of coffee while writing, I added a collection of coffee cups and a coffee gift basket. Please, oh please let someone get that for me! I added a bit of relaxation and had the perfect combination of gifts for writers. Check it out!

Next, I created a Valentine’s Day Gifts for Pet Lovers collection, because I have a ton of pets and love them all. Also because I wanted collections outside the usual “gifts for him” and “gifts for her.” These items aren’t for your pet, but rather gifts that anyone who loves animals would adore.

Of course, if you’re not a writer or pet lover, you can create collections based on your own interests. When you’re done, just share your collection with family and friends. Hopefully they’ll get the hint!

Valentine’s Day isn’t the only time you’ll want to create collections, of course! I made collections with my favorite Fun Fashion Statements, Must-Have Beauty Items and Goodies for the Home too!

  1. This is cool! From what you were first describing, I thought it sounded like a spin-off of Pinterest, but the shopping option (and price comparison) really makes it a completely different site.
