7 Father’s Day Craft Ideas He’ll Love

Mason Jar Lid Magnets

If you’re anything like I am, you probably already have twenty-five Mason jar lids around the house already!  Why not put them to good use, and make some wonderful magnetic photo frames for dad?  This is such a great craft for all ages of kids to do (with parental supervision, of course!). Have a look here.

You Rock Frame

Dad’s heart will swell when he sees this beautiful frame decorated with rocks, with the simple message: “You Rock Dad”.  All you need is a picture frame, some good glue and some rocks to decorate the frame.  You can use river stones from the craft store, or even collect the rocks with your kids as a fun outdoor activity! Check it out here, then carry the theme through to a special breakfast with our Father’s Day crepe recipe!

Shrinky Dink Cufflinks

When I was a kid, I LOVED making crafts with Shrinky Dinks, and they are still popular today!  Why not make dad some adorable custom made cufflinks that will make him smile every time he wears them?  For crafty parents and kids, this gift is a surefire hit! Grab the tutorial here.

Key Chain

Another wonderful craft using a sheet of Shrinky Dink!  Trace your child’s handprint and bake it in the oven so dad can carry around a daily reminder of his wee one!  A sweet Father’s Day craft that you can find here.

All About Dad

Have your kids fill out a questionnaire about their daddy, and frame it with a picture they draw of their dad as well! I used a questionnaire similar to this one last year for my husband when my son was three, and the results were so special – and funny too! See how to make it here.

Following in Your Footsteps

This is a super cute Father’s Day craft and activity idea for new dads. You’ll need his cooperation to get his footprint unless you’re super stealthy or he’s a really deep sleeper! Check out the super easy tutorial!

You Are My Superhero Canvas

For a wonderful gift that even toddlers can help with, why not make dad a Superhero canvas? Using paint and your little one’s handprints and footprints to make a superhero, this is probably one of the most heartwarming crafts I’ve seen for Father’s Day! Check it out!

I hope you enjoy making some of these great Father’s Day craft ideas! I know your special guy will love getting such meaningful gifts!
