Easter Crafts & activities to do with your kids

Create a collage of old Easter photos.
I’m sure you’ve got a bunch of old Easter photos in a photo album. You could scan these photos into your computer (so you can have back up copies) and then use the photos to make a collage or a scrapbook. This would be a great gift for the grandparents and aunts and uncles that live far away. It is an easy Easter craft to make.

Create organizers from used egg cartons.
This is another Easter craft that is useful for people that collect small things or make jewelry. The kids can take old egg cartons and cover them with construction paper. They can then decorate the egg cartons with paint or glitter.

Make your own Easter card.
Instead of going to the store and buying those expensive cards, have the kids make the Easter cards this year. You would just need some colored paper, markers, crayons, colored pencils, and a photo. Your kid could make a card and paste their photo on it for a memorable card for family members.

Have the kids make egg maracas.
I will bet this is a craft you haven’t done before.

For this Easter craft you will need:

  • newspaper,
  • paint brushes,
  • plastic eggs,
  • glue,
  • rice or marbles,
  • enamel craft paint,
  • and bowls of water.

Directions

  • Once you have this handy you will need to clear a space on the table and cover it up with the newspaper.
  • You should have a bowl of water, a paint brush and some plastic eggs for each kid.
  • Have the kids choose rice or marbles to fill the egg with.
  • Place a thin line of glue around the egg opening.
  • Close the egg and be sure to wipe off excess glue.
  • After the glue is dry allow the kids to paint the plastic egg. Let the eggs dry on the newspaper

Some really good ideas here, I especially like the Spring Easter Candle Holder, the flowers are gorgeous and as you said with an electric flame it would look amazing :-)
