Dollar Stores: This includes actual dollar stores and those like Dollar General.  Prices can range starting at $1 (sometimes less!) Quality of products in these stores has increased over the years as more and more consumers are spending their hard-earned money here.  You’ll find a great variety of shapes and sizes as well as boxes of traditional round ornaments.  In addition, they carry other supplies to adorn your tree, such as a garland and tinsel.

Wal-Mart/Target: Wal-Mart and Target Your one -stop-shops for all holiday decor!  Both have a huge selection of  cheap Christmas ornaments to choose from, ranging from itty-bitty to super extra large.  You also have so many color schemes to choose from such as tradition reds, greens and golds to more non-traditional like bright pinks and greens and blues.  Quality of these Christmas ornaments is excellent for the price you pay, which can range from just a couple dollars to $5 (or more) depending on the size.  Also, don’t forget to shop after Christmas to get the best deals on the ornaments for the following year!  Be sure to check their online selection, they often have web only deals.

The Christmas Tree Shop: It’s in the name!  Although it’s not all they carry, they do have a good selection of Christmas decor for you to choose from.  This is a great place to pick up the boxes of traditional, round ornaments.

Drug Stores: Stores such as CVS, Walgreens, and Rite-Aid carry cheap ornaments!  They don’t have a huge selection, but it’s a good aisle to check out if you are there.  Prices can vary, but they tend to be on the inexpensive side.

Online:  The internet can be a beautiful place for shopping!  In the comfort of your own home in your pj’s with a hot cup of cocoa, you can pick and choose your bargains with a click.  Prices range, but search for what you are looking for and compare prices.  Your best deals are going to be on items in bulk such as icicles or traditional ornaments.  Check out sites such as Amazon, Overstock, WayFair and Ebay.

  1. I have found some really pretty inexpensive ornaments at Michael’s. They usually have weekly coupons where you can save quite a bit on one item or sometimes your whole purchase so I look for these and shop then.
