This looks like a great snack, for my kids and for me. I will try anything with coconut in it! And these little bags are adorable. They would make a cute little back to school teacher gift!
This is such a great easy and healthy snack both for kids and adults! I love that you have added coconut, that sounds amazing! I will have to try this recipe out!
I never thought to make my own granola, this is such a great idea. The packaging you made is adorable! I’m sure kids will be happy at lunch.
Forget about the kids, I want a batch of this! I love granola, but haven’t ever been able to make something I like as much as Nature Valley Honey Oat granola bars… but you had me at coconut and chocolate, I think I’ve found tomorrow’s kitchen project : -)
I love to eat trail mix! It is a great snack to make up and it is fun to try new ingredients in it! I have never had trail mix with coconut before I will have to try that.
My kids would swap the coconut shreds for some peanut butter chips. But I bet they would enjoy this granola! It’s a great way to fuel their little bodies with fiber, protein, and some sweet, without all the extra sugar. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
Thinking of snacks for kids for school every day is quite challenging. There must be an assortment of flavors to provide to satisfy their taste buds especially for those picky eaters. These nutty snacks look so good and healthy.
YUM! I absolutely love trail mix. And the fact that this one has coconut in it makes it even better. We’re going on a few road trips this month and next month that this would be perfect for. Can’t wait to try it!
I LOVE back to school blog posts. Although I don’t have children, nor am I going back to school any time soon – I still love reading and hearing about all the DIY stuff that people post. Mainly because i can make it all, and then… eat it all. Well, sharing with my husband too, I guess 😉 haha. Love the tiny little apples you put on the front, freakin’ cute!
I don’t know why I want to make my own Granola bars I have been having the yearning for a while now but never got around to doing it. I love this and the printables are so cute!
That is so great. Granola based trail mix is a great, healthy way to snack for kids and adults. The oatmeal and fruit is an excellent source of energy and complex carbs. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.
I am so all over this!! I never knew granola was so simple. Probably because I’ve never looked. But now, since I try to make everything homemade I’m so excited! Thanks, saying hello from Creativity Unleashed!

I need this right now. I actually love making granola and then eating it with milk like cereal. It is my favorite breakfast. I definitely need to try this one. Thanks for the recipe.
Love the trail mix idea and your bags are adorable! Thank you for sharing with us at the Brag About It Link Party!
Have a great weekend!
We love granola in our house but usually eat it with greek yogurt, using it as a trail mix is a great idea! Thanks for the idea I bet my daughter would love this.
This looks like a perfect snack! My kids love granola and they’re always adding it to their yogurt or cereal. But we’ve never tried just making snack mix and putting it in their bags for a school snack. Such a great idea!
We love granola around here, especially to top our yogurt! Another favorite snack of ours is sliced apples + nut butter. The kids like peanut, I like almond. We always scoop the nut butter into the center of a plate then arrange the apple slices around so it looks like a flower. It takes 2 seconds but it makes it taste soooo much better 😉
Yum! I love this type of mix. I know my kids do too. Perfect for a snack on the walk home from school. My kids can’t take nuts so I do bags like this and keep them for the walk home. They are always so hungry after school!
What a delicious , healthy snack! I have never made granola before and honestly, don’t know why! I love saving money and think making it at home would be such an economical thing to do! Thanks for sharing this today and inspiring me!
I love making homemade trail mix it is a great way to customize them to the kids taste as well. I have not tried it with coconut or coconut oil in it before sounds like it would be delicious. I need to try this out.

What a yummy looking recipe! I can see this becoming a favorite with my family. I would like to add in pumpkin seeds and sub out the nuts to make the mix nut free for our allergies. YUM. This looks great!
What a yummy recipe! Something that is quick and easy to is usually my go to snack. I really like that this snack mix includes all of my favorite things. If I had kiddos, I would definitely pack this in their lunches.
This recipe looks so good. I like the health ingredients and the easy process. Plus I really like how you packaged the single servings in such a nice way. This is a great idea for school snacks and for adults too.
