Visit Nantucket Massachusetts for a Truly Unique Vacation Experience #XploreMass

Massachusetts is one of my favorite places to visit. I’ve been there at least half a dozen times over the years. No matter how many times I go, I always find something new to experience! Of all the times I’ve been there, though, I’ve never had the chance to visit the islands of Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard or Cape Cod. Massachusetts has dozens of small islands off its coast, but these are the big three that see the most action.

Massachusetts

Nantucket is my favorite. Even though I’ve never been there, I fell in love with the stories and pictures. I have a dream of one day settling down on this gorgeous island! I just love the idea of a tight-knit community in a small town with gorgeous views of the ocean from nearly every window! I imagine myself walking down their idyllic Main Street, shopping for bread at a local bakery and sipping coffee at a small cafe.

  1. After reading this, I will definitely consider Nantucket as a travel destination. Most people I know either go to Martha’s Vineyard or Cape Cod so, I’ll be the first of my friends to visit Nantucket!

  2. I find the short little lighthouses intriguing. I grew up in south Florida, 750 feet away from the brightest lighthouse on the eastern seaboard (Big Diamond at Hillsboro Inlet).

  3. I really need to head back up that direction. Seems like I mostly travel that direction during the late winter. I know people live there; so that can’t be the only weather they have.

    1. You definitely have to visit the East Coast one day! I’ve been up and down most of it throughout my life. I’m biased maybe because I live in PA, but I think the Mid-Atlantic and New England are the best places to visit.
