Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista Downtown Review: We Will Go Back Soon

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista Downtown from July 25th to 28th 2012. We arrived around 9pm after a day spent at the Wet’n Wild Orlando. We were totally exhausted and we just wanted to check in! When we arrived the staff was super friendly. They took the time to discuss with my son about Wet’nWilde and all the activities he did that day!  While I was checking in, my husband parked the car. It was quick and easy.

Then we headed to the room! It was at the 11th floor with a pool view.We arrived just on time for the Disney fireworks! They were a bit far away but we managed to see some fireworks.

The  Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista room was clean.  We had a coffee machine as well as a fridge. It helped on meal costs! The room was well organized.  It also had a good sized t.v., towels, and water cooler.

I really loved the bathroom: It had a decent size and was well organized. We had all we needed even a hair dryer!

The balcony had two chairs! As soon as the kids saw the pool, they wanted to try it.

The  Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista pool was open until 11PM,  so we put our bathing suits and went to try it.  I love the shape of the pool as well as the size. My son went to the deep end and my daughter enjoyed the shallow parts! My husband and I enjoyed the palm trees surrounding the pool! We enjoyed the heated towels. There was also a nice restaurant around the pool!

The next morning we had a continental breakfast. It costs $14.95 and kids eat free. There was a large selection of hot and cold meals.My kids enjoyed the waffle section while my husband and I treated ourselves with a delicious vegetarian omelet.  You have to wait few moments though! Again, the staff was friendly! Since the kids ate free, we ate most of the time at this restaurant!

The hotel is 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney! It is also close to Disney parks. They ran shuttles to Disney parks at no cost! My daughter enjoyed the shuttle. She thought it was a school bus to Disney!

The hotel has a workout room. It has a couple of treadmills and elliptical trainers. We didn’t have the opportunity to try it but maybe next time. The last day we discovered a game room for kids! My son played a little bit in it.

We enjoyed the hotel so much that we came back a few days later on our way back home. The service was as good and people friendly! We will definitely go back.
