The Proctor house in Brighton, Kawarthas

Give kids a glance back into the 1800s at the Proctor House in Brighton. The beautiful mansion once started as a modest Brick Salt Box construction. Over the years, it has grown to its impressive size. It is now a museum featuring artifacts from life during the 1800s. Just don’t share the story about the Ghost of John Nix Jr, who may be haunting the house! Little ones may not be too impressed with that. On the other hand, teenagers may find it especially interesting!
