While many folks are sad that summer is coming to an end, the good news is that fall is here. The fall season provides for crisp air and beautiful colored leaves. A hike, a walk during fall will invigorate you. The beautiful foliage makes me feel so good. I try to visit one of these Canadian cities to spot the best foliage views. My daughter loves collecting fall leaves. She even uses them as material for fall crafts. Take a look at this leaves bouquet holder she made.

Mont Tremblant-

Mont Tremblant is a resort town located in the region of the Laurentian Mountains. While this town is a huge spot for winter lovers and winter sports, the fall season provides the best scenery around. You can sit on the gondola and enjoy the ride to the mountain top to view all the beautiful fall colors. There are also several hikes you can experience to take in the beauty of the gold and amber hills.

The Bruce Peninsula-

The Bruce Peninsula is located in Ontario and is home the one of the best parts of the hiking trail, The Bruce Trail. This trail is 800 km that showcases Ontario’s water, fauna and flora. It also has some of the most spectacular fall foliage views, with some trees being over 1,000 years old. The colors peak starting at the end of September until the start of October.

The Confederation Trail-

The Confederation Trail is a recreational rail trail system located in Prince Edward Island. This 470 km trail features a wide array of spots to view the fall foliage. The best time to see the leaves in full color is starting in the middle part of September and ending in the latter part of October. The Confederation Trail consists of one main trail and eight branch trails. The main trail is Tignish-Elmira, which is 273 km in length.

Monte-Sainte-Anne-

Monte-Sainte-Anne is a ski resort that is located in the Quebec town of St-Ferreol-les-Neiges. The fall season is the ideal time to head to Monte-Sainte-Anne not only because of the beautiful fall colors but also because of the Great Colour Adventure that takes place from mid-September to mid-October each year. This is a festival that celebrates fall and its colors. There are various activities including outdoor music shows, kid’s activities and sports challenges. The resort also offers 145 km of trails to enjoy the foliage.

  3. Oh I bet Canada has just the best fall foilage ever. Probably far better than the states. I do love this time of year where its not too cold, and warm in the middle of the day, but nice and cool in the morning, good for walks or runs.
