 North Creek, New York- The Gore Mountain Ski Resort is located in the Adirondack Mountains and features 119 trails and 15 ski lifts. Gore Mountain was first used for skiing in 1934 and features a base elevation of 998 feet, a summit elevation of 3,600 feet and a vertical rise of 2,537 feet. Their longest run is 4.4 miles in length. Dining options at the resort include breakfast at the Base Lodge Food Court, lunch at Corduroy Café and dinner at the Open Pit Grille.

Snowshoe, West Virginia- The Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort is located in the Allegheny Mountains. The resort features 60 trails and 14 ski lifts. Snowshoe Mountain has a base elevation of 3,348 feet, a summit elevation of 4,848 feet and a vertical rise of 1,500 feet.
