I don’t know about you, but I don’t really have time to do major spring cleaning. I know I’m supposed to use the change in seasons to freshen up my house, put away all the heavy curtains and blankets and bring out the lighter fabrics. I get that this is the time I’m supposed to scrub every surface and dust every knick knack. Really, I get it. I just don’t have the time to do it! I certainly can’t afford a service to do it for me. The only option left is to find tools that help me make spring cleaning go as fast as possible. Check out my favorites. Some I have and some are high on my wish list!

iRobot Roomba : I have always wanted a Roomba, but haven’t gotten one yet. With three dogs, three cats and a little boy, I spend a lot of time vacuuming! I would love a little robot vacuum cleaner to do that part of the hard work for me. This particular one can be scheduled to perform up to seven cleaning sessions per week. I wouldn’t even have to be home! The only thing I’d worry about is my dogs attacking it if I wasn’t here to stop them. They freak out over the regular vacuum cleaner!

BISSELL Powerfresh Steam Mop: If you have to mop, you might as well do it with a power mop! The BISSELL has a flip-down scrubber to get in between grout and a perfectly shaped head to reach even small spaces. You can even pop in a fragrance disk to leave your house smelling beautiful as you clean. Mopping with a steam mop is one of the few spring cleaning chores that I really don’t mind. I find it kind of relaxing.

HAAN HS-20R Handheld Steam Cleaner with Attachments: I’m going to be blatantly honest here, I had no idea what a steam cleaner was used for. This one just sort of called to me with its vibrant, cheery red color. Plus, I thought it was a tea kettle when I first saw it.  I asked my mom what one could do with a steam cleaner and she said “you can use it for everything!” I asked her to clarify. Apparently, this magical device can be used to clean carpets, furniture, bathroom walls and much more. Plus it’s really cool looking. Hey, if you’re going to clean, you should at least get fun contraptions to do it with!
