Forget morning sickness, when I was pregnant with my son I had morning, afternoon, evening and middle of the night sickness! Just about everything made me nauseous. At the same time I was dealing with new cravings. During my first trimester, all I wanted was orange juice! Then, one night, I craved strawberry shortcake so badly that I made my husband and his friend drive me to every single restaurant in the area until I found the right kind!

Do you know how much it stinks to crave something that badly, finally get it and then get sick from it? Not fair! While my morning sickness subsided in my second trimester, I still dealt with indigestion that made me nauseous from time to time. It probably doesn’t help that I spent my entire second trimester eating pizza every night. During what little bit of my third trimester I had (my son was a preemie), I ate chicken cheese steaks from one restaurant pretty much every day. They loved me because they also happened to be a pizzeria!

Control Morning Sickness with Sea-Band Mama & Enjoy Those Cravings!

Part of the fun of being pregnant is enjoying crazy cravings. You have a free pass because no one looks at you funny when you insist that you need a vat of strawberry shortcake in the middle of the night! No one can refuse you when you insist on eating pizza for dinner for the 5th day in a row either! If you have morning sickness, though, it’s kind of hard to enjoy that freedom. That’s where Sea-Band Mama! comes in.

First, let me tell you that I am completely in love with Sea-Bands in general. I discovered them when I went on a cruise. While everyone else was yacking from a particularly rocky day at sea, I was totally fine. I am prone to insane motion sickness, so I wear them whenever we go on long car rides, especially if I have to sit in the back. I also wear them to help relief headaches and vertigo. I keep a stash of them pretty much everywhere.

While I didn’t know about them when I had morning sickness, I’ve recommended them to pretty much everyone I know who has any sort of nausea issues. Now, they have a whole line of Sea-Band products geared towards pregnant women: Sea-Band Mama! The line includes:

  • Sea-Band Mama! acupressure wrist bands– These are like the original Sea-Bands, the stretchy wrist bands that put pressure on an acupressure point on your wrist to trigger the P6 Nei Kuan pressure point on the inside of the wrist to alleviate nausea from morning sickness. Stimulating this pressure point helps the body to calm nausea and vomiting. They start to work within minutes and are quite comfortable.
  • Ginger Lozenges with Folic Acid- Ginger is one of the best natural remedies for nausea, but I was never a fan of chewing on the root! These are specially formulated with natural Zingiber Officianale, the essential oils that help relieve your upset stomach. Plus they have added Folic Acid to provide valuable nutrients to your baby!

Sea-Band Mama! products use no drugs and have no side effects, and are safe for use during pregnancy. Take it from me, you’ll love them so much, you’ll want to keep them everywhere like I do!

  1. UGH I had the worst morning, day and night sickness with my daughter. It was never ending. I did try these lozgenes Im not sure if they were the same brand, it was over 7 years ago but they did help me at least get through some days.
