“What To Do When You’re Having Two: The Twins Survival Guide From Pregnancy Through The First Year” by Natalie Diaz


Diaz herself had twins in 2004, and was disappointed that there was so little information out there to help prepare her for her twins’ arrivals.  Diaz manages to provide informative and helpful advice for moms, as well some real-life personal experiences with her own pregnancy with twins.  A very funny book for any moms-to-be cooking two buns in the oven! You find it on Amazon.

“When You’re Expecting Twins, Triplets Or Quads: Proven Guidelines For A Healthy Multiple Pregnancy” by Dr. Barbara Luke and Tamara Eberlein


An informative read, with an emphasis on moms-to-be slowing down and taking better care of themselves, for their sake as well as their babies’.  The authors are experts in the field of multiple pregnancy, and the book is a clear reflection of that.  A must-read for any parents expecting twins!

From the challenges of a maintaining a healthy twin pregnancy to tips for caring for your twins once they’re born, this a great book for parents expecting two babies.  In fact, Le Bucklin is not only a M.O.M. (mother of multiples!), but an academic pediatrician as well.  With first-hand experience under her belt, as well as the academic information expectant parents of multiples need, this book is a must for families expecting twins!

Another great book from a mom of twins who also happens to be a pediatrician.  Combining personal stories of her own experiences raising twins, as well as helpful medical information expectant moms of twins can use in their own lives, Vaziri Flais guides new parents of twins to feel more confident and informed.  From pregnancy to your twins’ first years, this book is a must for parents expecting twins.

“Dad’s Guide To Twins: How To Survive The Twin Pregnancy And Prepare For Your Twins” by Joe Rawlinson


A very informative read for dads (and moms!) expecting twins, as told by a father of twins who as been there himself.  Though Rawlinson is not a doctor, his first-hand experience as a dad of twins has shaped a wonderful guide book which covers everything from health risks and complications to potty training and sleep schedules.  A great book for parents expecting twins, who don’t have time to read lengthy medical books.
