Lips Are Moving

Wow, the mom can really sing in this parody song of Megan Trainor’s Lips Are Moving. The kids popping into the back of the video simply adds to the adorableness of this pregnancy announcement.

Shut Up And Dance

This parody of Walking On The Moon’s Shut Up And Dance is just too cute. This family has three kids, and I like their constant winks that this baby is not a surprise and yes they know how having babies works… and then, surprise! It’s twins!

We Can’t Stop… Having Babies

So sometimes when you have a few kids already, people start to question if you are sure you want a bigger family. This Miley Cyrus parody of We Can’t Stop definitely lets everyone know that this family is so excited about their fourth child. Maybe you should not ask this family if they know how having babies works?

Pregnancy Announcement Song Mixup

Can’t decide on just one song? Check out this mix up of songs from the Tolley family including parodies of Treasure by Bruno Mars, Do You Want To Build A Snowman from Frozen, and a few other songs mixed in. These parents are heading into parenting with lots of laughs, and you’re going to love it!

Baby One More Time

Ooops, we’re pregnant again, haha!  This video for a second pregnancy is creative genius featuring four Brittney Spears songs. The video starts with a parody of Brittney Spear’s Baby One More Time (Ohh We’re Pregnant Again), but also covers the song Toxic (Making Me Nauseous); I’m a Slave For You (I’m A-Voiding You) and Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea’s Pretty Girls (Little Girl). A seriously creative couple made this video!

Dear Future

I just found a second fun Megan Trainor pregnancy announcement to the tune of “Dear Future Husband.” In this video, the mom-to-be sings to “dear future baby,” “dear future dad” and even an ode to her future body. This one is upbeat and fun, what a great way to announce!

We Are Having Having Having… Another Baby

If my husband and I were to make a pregnancy announcement video (no we’re not pregnant!), I feel like this is more like what we would end up making! While I watch American Idol with the best of them, my talent falls more into the Friday night karaoke range. This couple may not have the vocal pipes that some of these other videos have but they definitely have a spark and are having fun. They parody Taylor Swift’s We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

So dear readers, which video is your favorite? Would you ever make musical pregnancy announcement videos to announce to the world? You have to tell me in the comments!

  1. These are hilarious. I wish I would have thought about something like this when I was pregnant with my youngest. I remember telling my husband that I thought I was pregnant so he grabbed a test for me. Sure enough it was positive after trying for 18 months.

  2. These are so funny. I just called people and told them, no biggie. I was more excited to talk to my husband about it and didn’t really care about anyone else’s opinion.

  3. These were all great fun to watch. Some folks really get creative when it comes to pregnancy announcement. Of course, there is the whole YouTube star factor going on. Some of these folks need to create great videos to help with their stats.

  4. How cute and creative. When I got pregnant we simply posted a picture of our ultrasound and made the announcement. Now, people are coming up with fantastic and memorable ways to share their joy. If we are blessed with another, I hope to share something just as inspiring.

  5. I always love watching these parodies! People are so creative with all this. If I knew about the stuff when I was pregnant I would’ve totally done something like this.
