Rainbow baby pregnancy announcements hold a special place in our hearts. Losing a baby, no matter how early or late in a pregnancy, is heartbreaking. However, thanks to the power of hope, love, medicine and the want to start a family, many mothers who went through a miscarriage eventually go on to have successful pregnancies and births. A birth after a miscarriage is known as a rainbow baby. While a miscarriage can bring all sorts of dark clouds and instability, a baby born after these dark times is truly the rainbow after the storm. Here are 7 rainbow baby pregnancy announcements that will melt your heart.

I never heard of rainbow babies. I think every one of my friends have had a rainbow baby, including me. How sweet all these are. Great ways to share wonderful news

  7. How wonderful to take such care with these. I have never heard the term Rainbow Baby until now. Turns out I AM a Rainbow Baby. My mom and dad had me shortly after they lost their twins to still birth. My father passed when my mom was in her last month of expecting me. She must be a very strong woman, to be able to handle such a huge load, that’s all I can say.

  8. These are all so sweet. I have had a few women close to me deliver rainbow babies and understand how truly special they are.
