1. Baby Trend Sit N Stand Tandem Stroller + Infant Car Seat Travel System
If you’re looking for the best double strollers for infants and toddlers with car seat, this is pretty much it. The Baby Trend Sit n Stand Tandem Stroller + Infant Car Seat Travel System comes with one car seat, but you can buy a second one if needed.
I love that the back seat can be removed or converted to a standing platform for older children, making this ideal for those looking for a “double stroller sit and stand” system.
It comes with a Baby Trend Flex-Loc infant seat & stay-in-car base for little ones up to 35 pounds. The stroller features every parent’s must-have item: a parent tray with cup holders and space for your keys.
When not in use, this double stroller folds up quickly and neatly to fit in your trunk.
2. Chicco Cortina Together Double Stroller
While the Chicco Cortina Together doesn’t come with a car seat, it does accommodate two of their KeyFit Seats. With four different possible configurations, this is one of the best twin strollers for newborns.
Along with the standard features that you’ll find in most double strollers for infants and toddlers, the Chicco Cortina Together comes with a few extra bells and whistles that I love. These include:
- Large zip-up storage basket that’s accessible even when the rear seat is reclined.
- One-handed self-standing fold that fits easily in any car
- One-touch linked brakes for smoother stops
- It’s up to 15% lighter than other comparable double strollers for infants and toddlers.
3. Chicco Echo Twin:
The up side? At under $200, the Chicco Echo Twin is one of the most affordable double strollers for toddlers.
The down side? It’s made for babies from 6 months up to 4 years, so you can’t use it as an infant stroller.
Once your babies are old enough to sit up on their own, though, this stroller really is fantastic.
The seats change giving you 4 seating positions on each side, so one or both of your kids can sit up, recline, or lay down as you stroll.
You only need one hand to fold this baby up as well. We all know that comes in super handy when you are toting around 2 tots!
4. Baby Jogger 2016 Summit X3 Double Jogging Stroller
If you’re looking for the best double jogging stroller, the Baby Jogger 2016 Summit X3 Double Jogging Stroller gets my vote!
Suitable for newborns and up, this stroller features an all-wheel suspension system to soak up those bumps in the road. Basically, it has better hydraulics than my old car!
The hand-operated rear brakes give you more control on uneven terrain, while the air-filled tires and handlebar allow for easy conversion between a jogger and a traditional stroller.
5. Delta Children LX Side by Side Tandem Umbrella Stroller
If you’re just looking for an inexpensive (yet still good) double stroller, the Delta Children LX is a great buy.
At under $100, this is the perfect “grab and go” stroller for quick trips into the store.
Don’t let its lower cost fool you, this stroller still comes with all the essentials, including:
- A lightweight frame and easy folding
- Multiple reclining positions for your little ones
- A parent cup holder and two storage sections
- Shock-absorbing front wheels
The compact side lets you explore just about anywhere, since the stroller fits through standard 30” doors. No struggling to angle it just right to get into that cute boutique or small neighborhood café!

I have noticed that it’s a lot harder to find double strollers for infants and toddlers with car seats included, but as you saw above, it is possible.
If you don’t need a car seat, though, your options are pretty much as wide as those looking for single strollers.
Personally, I love the joggers and the strollers with front and back seats (vs side-by-side). I feel like fewer wheels equals better control, but that’s totally a mental thing on my part.

Mine are no longer in a stroller. I think the double strollers come in handy, even when you are only pushing one. You can use the other side to haul stuff!
