Learn your ABCs With #LegoDuplo Alphabet Train

For the day 9 of the Lego Duplo 30 days of play challenge, little ones had to build an alphabet train. I find it is a great way to learn and practice the alphabet.

My 4 year-old does not know all her alphabets yet. She knows few letters so she requested the help of her older brother. He was proud to do so. The older child can teach some basic skills to the little siblings while they are playing. They can teach them how to read, draw, write. The Lego Duplo 30 days of play challenge made this happen in our family. Every member is learning a new skill: the little one practises her alphabet and couting, the older child practises his teaching skills.

To accomplish this challenge, my 10 year-old asked his sister to give him the letters. When she did not know the letter, he pulled it from the bin and made her repeat it. They built the train together, practicing each letter of the alphabet.
