Best Gift Ideas for Coffee Lovers

The Espro Press Stainless Steel French Press
While you can find inexpensive French Press’ that technically do the job, if you’re going to give one as a gift, make this beauty. The double wall vacuum-insulated stainless vessel keeps keeps coffee warm for over an hour. Of course, when I drink it, it wouldn’t last half that long! It filters 5-8 times finer than the standard French press. Plus, it’s dishwasher safe!
Espresso makers range from $40 on the lowest end (yes, you can find them this cheap, I did, although it’s not the best) to thousands of dollars for a café-quality machine. Unless you’re planning on serving up cappuccinos to the masses, you don’t need anything that fancy. A mid-range espresso maker, like the Melitta, is user-friendly while delivering a fabulous café-style drink at home. If you think the $160 price tag is steep, consider how much your recipient spends on lattes every year. Trust me, it will pay for itself in a month if they’re anything like me! This one uses both ground espresso and convenient Melitta pods. Personally, I prefer the ground.
This is one of the best gift ideas for coffee lovers in the military stationed overseas. It has a little bit of everything, from yummy chocolates, cookies, chocolate covered espresso beans (YUM!) and, of course, a selection of gourmet coffees. Also makes a great gift idea for a housewarming party. They really have thought of everything in this overflowing basket!
Wisconsinmade Gourmet Coffee & Mug Set
If a ginormous gift basket isn’t practical (or in the budget), the Wisconsinmade Gourmet Coffee and Mug Gift Crate by Eagle River Roasters might work better. The wooden gift crate includes two 12 ounce bags of regular coffee in Bucksnort and Northern Lights flavors and a ceramic coffee mug. Choose either ground or whole bean coffee. The coffee mug has the Eagle River Roasters logo on it.
Universal Housewares Gourmet Cast Iron Coffee Grinder
While pre-ground coffee is definitely more convenient, nothing beats the taste of fresh ground coffee. You could grind it with a cheap-o electric grinder, but this beauty is just, well beautiful. Grind coffee in the top chamber and retrieve it from the wooden drawer. The wheel is adjustable for the perfect grind.
Give the gift of four pounds of delicious,high-quality 5th Avenue gourmet coffee. Comes with three of their most popular flavors: Donut Shop Blend, Breakfast Blend, and Hazelnut Crème
Keurig K450 2.0 Coffee Brewing System
Hello there, beautiful! The only thing that could get me to give up my beloved Keurig is a brand new Keurig 2.0! The next incarnation of the most popular single-cup coffee maker has grown up a bit. Now, it can brew an entire carafe of coffee. It has a 70 oz. water reservoir with a color touch display. Control the strength, set it to auto brew and even save your favorite settings. Does this mean it will have my coffee ready for me when I wake up? That’s really the only thing I miss about my standard old coffee pot with the automatic timer.
The Colombian Coffee Book: How Juan Valdez Became a Household Name
If your coffee-loving friend already has all the latest gadgets and is too picky to choose coffee for, check out this book! It not only tells the story of how the Juan Valdez became the biggest name in coffee, but also provides plenty of interesting facts and anecdotes about the world’s most wonderful beverage.
These are just a few of my favorite gift ideas for coffee lovers. As a one-time barista (for about a month) and coffee fanatic, I can honestly say I’d love any of these gifts! My favorite has to be the gift basket, though. So much goodness loaded into that baby! The new Keurig is a very close second!
