Let Easy-Off do the cleaning for you! #EOSPRINGCLEANING

It is time in my home to do Spring Cleaning which brings a mixture of emotions. On one hand, I enjoy having everything clean and organized, but I just don’t like doing the hard, time-consuming grimy stuff like cleaning the oven.

My oven has the ability to self-clean, but the one and only time I used it my entire house was filled up with so much smoke we couldn’t breathe! This only leaves me with the option of cleaning it by hand. Easy-Off Fume-Free Oven Cleaner is safe to use in self-cleaning ovens (except continuous cleaning) and has no caustic fumes. They also have another formula called Heavy Duty, which cuts through grease in under 5 minutes.

I chose to use Easy-Off Fume-Free Oven Cleaner because I could use it even though I have a self-cleaning oven and I did not want the fumes filling up my home. Following the directions, I coated all sides of the inside of my oven. I was worried that it might not take the blackened baked-on food because it has been stuck to the bottom of the appliance for about 6 months. After I had finished coating the surfaces, I let it sit for two hours while I did other things around the house.

Then, it was time to see if the product worked. I took a sponge and wiped down the oven and to my surprise, most of the baked-on food and grease came off! After I was done wiping, there were a few areas of black that remained, but it was an amazing improvement.

I recommend this product even though my oven is not spotless. For one, I rarely clean my oven, so the few blackened areas that remained may simply be because I waited so long to clean it. Also, the Easy-Off Fume-Free Oven Cleaner freed up a lot of my time. Normally I would spend two to three hours scrubbing the oven just to get it halfway decent. With this product, I did other things while it soaked for two hours, then spent about 15 minutes just wiping it down. My time is valuable and with Spring Cleaning time here, I have other things to do. Instead of scrubbing, I can let Easy-Off do all the work for me!
