Finding pregnancy skincare products that are safe enough to use during those nine months, yet are so fabulous that you want to use them forever is kind of challenging. Sure, you can find plenty of soap and body wash options. You may even find a few lotions that aren’t totally boring. When you start getting into facial moisturizers and eye creams, though, the ingredient lists get a bit scarier.
I’ve done major research on essential oils over the years and, honestly, very few are safe during pregnancy. Even with all my research, I still have to refer back to my list when I’m talking to pregnant friends. I received an awesome assortment of Belli Skincare products, including body wash, moisture lotion, facial hydrator and eye brightening cream. Let me tell you a little about each one.
- Pure & Pampered Body Wash: When they say “pampered” they mean it! I absolutely LOVE the relaxing scent of lavender and chamomile combined with the refreshing feeling of cucumber and green tea extracts. The lightweight body wash lathers nicely for an all-over clean feeling. Plus, it’s perfect to use in place of your shaving gel.
- All Day Moisture Lotion: Hop out of the shower and slather on Belli Skincare’s All-Day Moisture Lotion. It features lemon oil, which let me tell you, is like the happiest scent ever. I love citrus scents. They make my whole day brighter. While the lemon oil lifts your spirits, the chamomile helps soothe your dry skin.
- Healthy Glow Facial Hydrator: I think this is my favorite of the bunch, and not just because of the light citrus scent (did I mention I REALLY love citrus?). It is so lightweight, yet does such a terrific job of making my face look nice and glowing. It has Vitamin C and grape seed oil for radiant, healthy looking skin.
- Eye Brightening Cream: My eyes often look tired and puffy. Between allergies, not enough sleep and hereditary dark circles, it’s hard to “perk” them up in the morning. This Vitamin K enriched cream really helped! Plus, it felt so cool and comforting when I put it on, definitely a great way to start the day!
Belli pregnancy skincare products are OB/GYN and Dermatologist recommended. How often do you get skincare products that come recommended by two completely different types of doctors? Plus, they’re cruelty-free. They’re also allergy-tested and contain zero artificial dyes or fragrances. Phthalates? I can’t say or spell it without looking at it three times, so thank goodness, Belli left those out too, along with paraben preservatives.

I also received CapriClear, a nifty spray-on moisturizer that’s made of 100% fractionated coconut oil. This is one of the gentlest moisturizers you can use. In fact, even those with incredibly sensitive skin can use it! CapriClear was created by a dermatologist and it’s safe for those with eczema, although I always recommend talking to your dermatologist first if you have a preexisting skin condition.
The great thing about CapriClear is that you can stash it in your purse and use it anywhere. It’s fantastic for stretch marks or c-section scars. I’ve been using it at the mall, where I work seasonally. The heat in that place always seems to suck the moisture right out of my body. CapriClear is easy enough to spray on the go.
