Who is Jonathan in Hotel Transylvania 2?
Besides the name Jonathan, he has also been called Johnny, Johnnystein and Daddy. His personality reflects someone who is good-natured, confident, hopeful, full of life, optimistic, curious, easygoing and talkative. His appearance consists of red hair with green eyes and freckles. He is slender build and wears a green and yellow t-shirt, orange shirt, beige cargo shorts and green sneakers. His exact birthday is not known except for the fact that he was born in 1991.
Jonathan’s allies include Dracula, Mavis, Murray, Griffin, Wayne and Frankenstein. His enemies are Quasimodo and Esmeralda. Jonathan likes Mavis, Dennis and traveling around the world. He doesn’t like having to ever give up Mavis.
Mavis and Jonathan’s romance kind of got off to a rocky start. When he first arrived at the hotel, Mavis didn’t know he was human. While it was definitely love at first sight, the more time they spent together, the more their feelings for each other grew. However, when Mavis found out he was human, she was crushed. She wasn’t upset that he was human but instead she was hurt because he lied to her.
She realizes how much she loves him and wants him to stay but Jonathan lies to her (for the sake of Dracula) and tells her he doesn’t like monsters and walks out the door. However, Jonathan eventually comes back, tells her he loves her and tells her the reason he lied to her. From that point on, they are a happy couple traveling the world together.
His ultimate fate is to travel around the world with Mavis and Dennis. One of his most famous quotes is, “Check it out, I’m a Franken-Homie!”
Jonathan is quite the funny guy, so naturally some of his quotes are hilarious. “It’s a good jam, don’t be a grandpa!” “You meet so many awesome people in youth hostels.” “Speaking of awesome, that cape thing is killing it!” “Then, I see these goofy looking dudes on fire, and I follow them to this, like, amazing castle!”
