1. Transformers: The Last Knight is the 5th movie in the Transformers film franchise. The other 4 are: Transformers in 2007, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in 2009, Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011 and Transformers: Age of Extinction in 2014.

2. Michael Bay is the director of Transformers: The Last Knight and also directed the previous 4 movies in the franchise. In addition, he also directed the 1998 Armageddon, the 2001 Pearl Harbor and the 2016 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Bay also produced the 2005 The Amityville Horror, the 2009 The Unborn and the 2015 Project Almanac.

3. There has only been one cast member to appear in all 5 Transformer movies: Peter Cullen who voices the role of Optimus Prime. There have been 4 actors who have appeared in 4 of the 5 movies: Robert Foxworth voiced the role of Ratchet in the first 4 movies, while Josh Duhamel as William Lennox, Tyrese Gibson as Robert Epps and John Turturro as Seymour Simmons appeared in the first 3 films as well as the upcoming 5th film.

4. Most of the filming for Transformers: The Last Knight was done in the state of Michigan. Paramount Pictures received $21 million in state incentives for filming in the state of Michigan. Paramount Pictures also hired 450 Michigan residents as cast and crew members for the movie.

5. Steve Jablonsky is the music composer for Transformers: The Last Knight, as well as the previous 4 movies in the franchise. Besides the 5 Transformer films, Jablonsky has also worked with director Michael Bay on 5 previous movies: the 1998 Armageddon, the 2001 Pearl Harbor, the 2003 bad Boys 2, the 2005 The Island and the 2013 Pain & Gain.
