Who's excited for the Peanuts Movie? It's sure to be a great family comedy movie, and we have a sneak peek at the trailer, plus some fun trivia

Save the date for this family movie: The Peanuts Movie. It will hit the theater on November 6th, 2015.  My daughter is already eager to watch. We already organized a movie play date with her friends to watch this comedy movie. We do that on a regular basis: playdate movies. We love it. I find it’s a great way for kids to enjoy time together and for parents to interact with other parents (before the movie, of course, not during the movie). But what’s this family movie about?

The Peanuts Movie is an upcoming 3D computer-animated comedy movie. The film is produced by Blue Sky Studios, distributed by 20th Century Fox, directed by Steve Martino and written by Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano. The Peanuts Movie is based on the comic strip, Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. The movie is set to honor the 65th anniversary of the Peanuts comic strip.

The Peanuts Movie is rated G, with a runtime of 1 hour and 32 minutes. The movie showcases the beloved Peanuts gang, including Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the gang. They appear on the screen for the first time in 3D animation. 1. I can’t wait to take my oldest son to the movie! My younger twins want to see it too, but they’ll have to wait for DVD because I don’t know if they are ready for the theater quite yet.

  2. I love Peanuts, I’ve been reading their comics for a long time. It’s so nice to know they have a movie coming out this year! I can’t wait.

  3. I think that this movie looks absolutely adorable!! I’m hoping that they will do something special with the cast for the upcoming Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

  4. I am still in love with the Peanuts gang and Snoopy! In fact, I have a Snoopy stuffed dog that is 44 years old! He looks horrible, his tail has been sewn back on so many times, and he has no nose any longer, but he sits in my office with me every day. Okay maybe this all sounds creepy LOL I can’t wait to see the movie!
