The Best and Easiest Homemade Brownie Recipe

Warm, gooey brownies fresh out of the oven. What could be better?!

If you’re a brownie lover, skip the box. These homemade brownies are super easy to make, and taste way better than anything from a package! Trust me, if you can bake from a box, you can bake these brownies from scratch.

Even your kids or husband could follow this recipe and create amazing brownies. Plus, they are the perfect dessert to bring to a last-minute dinner and make the most thoughtful gift.

Like most baking recipes, you combine the wet ingredients first. I find that my stand mixer is the easiest way to do this.

Then I dump my dry ingredients into the wet ones. You’re supposed to mix the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl…I never do that for this recipe! Just dump them one at a time right into the liquid mixture.

Lightly grease a baking dish, then pour this thick batter in. Even it out by pushing it into the corners and smoothing out the top. You’ve officially spent only 5 minutes so far, and your brownies are ready to go in the oven! (Told you it’s a fast and easy recipe!)

Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mine come out perfectly after 22 minutes, but your oven may vary.

These brownies are so soft and moist that they fall apart! They are a delicious sweet treat, yet not too sugary. Add fresh whipped cream on top, or serve over a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Or eat them straight out of the warm pan!
