3. Breastfeeding pillow
If you plan to breastfeed your baby, a breastfeeding pillow will be a god send for you and for your new bundle of joy. These pillows are perfect for protecting you from straining your back which in turn means a happy baby. You can never go wrong with a Boppy! When you’re not using it for nursing, it makes a great tummy time pillow.
4. Baby gates

5. A baby carrier
Strollers are great for pushing baby around, but sometimes it’s nice to be able to carry your baby. For a hassle-free way of carrying your baby, invest in a baby carrier. I really like that you can add Pinterest boards and keep the registry private until you’re done. However, can you remove the preloaded items? I know a lot of people already have brand preferences for those kind of essentials.

I love all the new carriers that are now available – so many different designs, hard to choose the best. With my first baby I inherited a very old carrier, and now there are just so many options!
These are definitely essentials! I loved having my baby carrier. I could put my son in there and get some stuff down around the house. The Sophie giraffe was also a favorite of my sons.

I wish I bought a carrier earlier when the twins were smaller. We did buy eventually but we didn’t use it much as they were growing so fast.
There are SOOO many cute diaper bags but I always just grabbed a backpack so I could have my hands free and not having to worry about the purse style slipping off my shoulder. So I would def. recommend a backpack for first time moms.
