I’ve always loved buying toys for toddlers. They’re at that age where they’re learning through play and just love pretty much anything you give them. Totally low stress shopping! Plus, they’re not old enough to know what the hot toys are, so you don’t have to worry about trying to find out of stock gifts. Although, I do remember one year where I decided my son NEEDED some little hedgehog that the parenting magazines were calling THE educational toy of the year. I drove everyone nuts looking for that thing and my son didn’t know the difference between that toy and the 100 others he got that year (only child, first grandchild, first great grandchild, so imagine the spoiling).
