I’m sharing #lobsterworthy moments in my life as part of a Red Lobster sponsored series for Socialstars™
May is Celebration Season with graduations, end of school activities, the unofficial start to summer and of course, Mother’s Day. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate these special lobster worthy moments than at Red Lobster, can you?
I was surprised with a special lunch date to celebrate Mother’s Day this year! Luckily, my other half knows my love of seafood and Red Lobster. Growing up in the northeast and having access to fresh seafood all the time, you learn to appreciate a good meal of fresh fish and lobster. Going to Red Lobster reminds me of being back up north, and what better day to reminisce than Mother’s Day.
Celebrating my big May Moment at Red Lobster!
I am pretty sure we had the best waiter in the entire restaurant. He was so attentive, polite and not at all overbearing. He offered to bring out some fresh fruit for my son while we were waiting as well. I thought that was great! This was in addition to the amazing biscuits Red Lobster serves you while you wait.
My son is cute (at least I like to think so), and tends to grab the attention of the wait staff whenever we dine at Red Lobster. This time, he caught the attention of a waitress who was training 2 others and she asked if she could walk him around with the other staff for a bit. He seemed to be okay with it, so I let him go! (He usually doesn’t like Mom out of his sight). I like to think she was also giving us a minute to enjoy a few quiet moments together before our meal came out. She had him back to us just in time for our food to arrive. He was more interested in staying with them than the delicious food he was about to consume!
There are so many great dishes to choose from at Red Lobster, from scallops and shrimp to linguini with shrimp and of course lobster. I couldn’t decide what I wanted, so I chose to create my own lunch with Crunch-Fried Fish and Broiled Bay Scallops with a side of asparagus.
I had ordered the Crunch-Fried Fish another time, but it was part of a sandwich (which is also amazing by the way) so this time I wanted to try the fish all by itself, with just a little lemon and tartar sauce. Since the fish was fried, I chose to have the scallops broiled (which I am pretty sure is the first time I have ever had scallops that way!)
Whatever you are celebrating this May, you should take your celebration to Red Lobster. Whether it’s a graduation party, an engagement announcement, or maybe even buying a new house, Red Lobster is the perfect place to celebrate that special moment in your life with those you love.
