My sweet, wonderful incredibly adorable (can you tell I’m a proud aunt?) niece is turning six months old this month! She’s already breaking through with her first teeth, and soon she’ll be giving us big toothy grins. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you never realize how much you can love someone else’s child until you’re an aunt.
Miss Abbie is growing so fast. My brother and sister-in-law are brand new, first-time parents, so they’re learning on the go. I don’t like to be pushy, but I do try to pass on things that I learned with my son. Like oral health care. I had no idea that you were supposed to start caring for your baby’s teeth before they even came in!
Orajel is there from teething to training
Whether your baby is just breaking that first teeth through or ready to show you how she can brush all by herself, Orajel is there to help. Abbie is obviously at the first end of the spectrum, the Baby Orajel™ Naturals Teething Tablets and Gels are perfect for her. I love that they’re made with natural ingredients, but don’t contain any belladonna. When my son was an infant, I was terrified of giving him anything with belladonna in it because his dad is allergic to it. I didn’t know if it was a genetic allergy and didn’t want to find out.
Both the gels and the tablets are easy to use. With the gels, you just swipe it over your baby’s gums (with clean hands, of course!). The tablets dissolve fast too. If your baby doesn’t let you put them under her tongue, you can dissolve it in a bit of water.
The Orajel Training Toothpaste features several of your tot’s favorite characters and can be used starting as young as two months. Basically, the moment that first tooth comes in, you should start brushing it. Since Orajel Training Toothpaste doesn’t have fluoride, you don’t have to freak out when your child inevitably swallows some.
Once your kids get a little older, you can start using the fluoride toothpaste, also in fun characters. See, Orajel really does have you covered through all the stages of learning good oral care!

This reminds me that I need to be brushing my little guys’ gums
I used Orajel on my girls gums, when they were babies. Now that was 35 years ago, It is good to see, that Orajel is still going strong!! :)
My little guy is teething and we use Orajel to ease his pain!
Ok, Miss Abbie is a doll baby first off. We always used Orajel. Both for cleaning their their and for pain.
Aww shes cute :) & Oragel was my go to when my sons were younger
Awe your niece is so cute! We love Oragel products!
We definitely used Orajel when my kiddos were younger. One of the most recent milestones came a bit unnaturally for my son when he had to have his top three teeth removed. Painless thankfully and he looks too cute!
I often give a basket of medicine as a baby shower gift….like baby Tylenol, a thermometer, Motrin, etc. because babies always tend to get sick in the middle of the night when parents may not have those things on hand. This would be another great thing to include in a gift basket for new parents! Thanks for sharing!
My 5 year old keeps asking when her tooth will be wiggly lol That eventually will be a big one
Your niece is adorable! These products look handy. Dental care is so important!
Oragel was a must have with my daughter, we brought it everywhere we went just in case….
