November 14, 2013 Update: Two Canadian winners were chosen! Congratulations to Shelly Stetsko, from Castlegar, BC. She is the grand prize winner in the “Dream” category. Her entry about exploring Kissimmee with her three adventurous sons really captured the judges’ hearts. Her creativity brought Kissimmee to life by detailing all the destination has to offer in the
form of a poem.
Leonard Eng, from Mississauga, ON is the grand prize winner in the “Memory” category; he revealed his first time experience in Kissimmee 30 years ago, but recently returned in 2011 with four close friends on a fishing trip. Eng expressed his hopes of making more memories in Kissimmee with his same group friends. We know both winners are going to have a spectacular time on their trip! I wonder if they have room in their suitcases for me? I could use a little warm weather about now!
Time is running out to enter the Kissimmee Memories and Dreams contest! In just a few short days, entries will close and your chance to win a trip for you and five guests will be over. So what are you waiting for? Go get that entry in! You have until September 30th!
What is the Kissimmee Memories and Dreams Contest?
Need a refresher course on just what’s at stake here? The Kissimmee Memories and Dreams Contest is offering you a chance to show off a favorite memory or a long-held dream about a visit to Kissimmee. Prize includes round-trip airfare, hotel and car rental.
Remember, this contest is for Canadian residents only! It’s a special way for Experience Kissimmee to reward some of their most loyal visitors. Check out all the details in our previous Kissimmee Dreams and Memories post.
Plan your Kissimmee Vacation
After you enter the Kissimmee Memories and Dreams contest, I suggest checking out their “plan your vacation” tool! In fact, for those who aren’t Canadian residents, this is still a fun way to find out what there is to do in the beautiful Florida locale. I enjoyed taking a look at all the fun things to do in December. It’s frigid here that time of year and I would just love to get away to a warmer location!
Some really cool December events include the City of Kissimmee Festival of Lights Parade, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in nearby Disney World and so much more!
Don’t wait, go enter the contest!
It’s time to stop thinking about what you will say in your short essay and get to the entering! Remember, you have until September 30th, then the entry form closes. You do not want to miss this chance to win an amazing vacation for the whole family!
