Few weeks ago, we shared with you a new business opportunity that can make a difference in a child’s life: Kiddie Academy. Kiddie Academy is a great opportunity to own an educational based child care franchise. If you are you considering opening a child care franchise but you are you worried because you lack experience with child care then read the story of Nirali and Pinakin Patel. They had no experience with child care before they opened their Kiddie Academy Child Care franchise, but that didn’t stop them.
Kiddie Academy Case Study: Nirali and Pinakin Patel
On September 17, 2007, Nirali and Pinakin Patel’s Kiddie Academy franchise, located at 6534 Old Waterloo Rd, Elkridge Maryland was born. Since the Patels are new parents, they understand the importance of quality child care. They are also painfully aware of the scarcity of such child care. By opening their educational based child care center, they are providing local parents with the level of care and compassion that Kiddie Academy is known for.
Niarli was a data manager for clinical trials for Emmes Coroporation. Pinakin Patel was a project manager for Northrop Grumman. Neither had experience with child care outside of taking care of their own child. However, when Nirali and Pinakin decided to start their own business, they recognized the need for quality child care in their community. Nirali guides daily operations armed with her MBA and her Kiddie Academy training. Nriali ensures that personal relationships are fostered with every parent and child that comes through their doors. Nirali enjoys being able to spend more time with her son while she builds relationships with her Kiddie Academy families.
Even though their background is not in child care, this couple has still managed to see growth with this franchise. Their mix of high expectations of child care for their own family plus their business savvy has provided them a solid foundation.
As with any business endeavor, the Patels face challenges. Since this is a new business in a new area, they have to work hard to get the word out about Kiddie Academy. They have to get the word out to parents that Kiddie Academy is not like all of the rest of the child care centers out there. They have to let parents know about the educational based child care center in their area. They expect enrollment to increase as more people find out about the awesome care their neighbor’s children are receiving.
So far the Patels feel like they are already making a positive impact on their community. Along with steady increases in enrollment, the kids never want to leave. The parents are pleased with the Patels’ hands on attitude to their business.
If you are considering opening a Kiddie Academy franchise, do not let the fact that you don’t have any child care experience hinder you. The Patels have shown that you do not have to have years of child care experience to run a their own Kiddie Academy franchise. As long as you are willing to work hard at establishing and nurturing relationships with the parents and children in your community, you will be well on your way to running a Kiddie Academy child care center.
