Space Race Animated Web Series Review

Few months ago, Space Race launched an animated web series for kids focusing on space education. I love discovering new activities that teach the kids things in a funny way:  That’s what Space Race web series is about. It is a series of 8 episodes each one featuring a character in a spaceship shape. Your kids won’t notice they are learning.

I watched the episodes with my children, we had so much fun and learned so many things. Of course, my  3-year-old did not understand everything, she is too young but she loved watching the characters especially the Sabia and Robin. “…Mummy, they look like birdies” she said. Unfortunatley, I did not watch all the episodes with her as I felt some of them were not suitable for her age, they are more gueered for an audiance of 5 to 10 years old.

My 9-year-old boy was thrilled. He loved the Eagle character and the Vulture. He loved this web series as in each episode he learned ( and me too) new things about the solar systems in an exciting way. Each episode (around 4 to 5mn long) began by a description of one solar system: star, moon etc and then the featured character performed a breathtaking race. The characters are so funny. We enjoyed watching the episodes in the order we wanted as they are not interrelated.

Besides the web series, there is also an educational guide section including flash cards and coloring sheets. My son loved the 3D space racer and the space race trivia where he unlocked new levels by answering questions about characters and space.

I highly recommend this series and the activities. Be sure to stop by Space race and have fun learning things about the solar system.

To celebrate this great educational resource for kids Space Race is offering one of you a really cool poster for your little ones to display on their wall (See the above image). Space Race sent us a Poster. My 9-year-old was so excited about it that he shared it with his school mates.
