Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Teaser Trailer is Magical

Beauty and the Beast is a romantic musical fantasy movie that is due to be released in theaters on March 17, 2017. The movie is based on the 1991 movie of the same, which in turn was based on the 1756 fairytale of the same name by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont. There is a difference between the two movies in that the 1991 version was animated and the 2017 version is live-action.

Did you see the Beauty and the Beast teaser trailer yet? It was just released and let me tell you, it’s just magical! Beauty and the Beast is a romantic musical fantasy movie that is due to be released in theaters on March 17, 2017. Beauty and the Beast features an all-star cast including Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as The Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Kevin Kline as Maurice and Josh Gad as LeFou.

Much like the 1991 version, the movie will feature Belle who is taken prisoner by The Beast and held captive in his castle. Even though she is scared, Belle makes friends with the staff at the castle. Eventually, she learns to look beyond the physical appearance of The Beast and realizes that he is kind and caring.

The first trailer, known as a teaser trailer, for the movie has been recently released. The trailer is only one minute and 30 seconds long, but it gives viewers insight into what Belle looks like and what The Beast’s castle looks like. We do only see a very brief look at Belle, at the end of the trailer, as she reaches for the forbidden rose of The Beast. We did get to hear part of the movie score, which is composed by Alan Menken, who composed the 1991 movie score. Also in the teaser trailer, we hear two voices who appear to be those of Lumiere and Cogsworth.

The first movie trailer concludes with the date of March 17, 2017, the movie’s theater release date. It also showcases the words Be Our Guest, one of the most popular songs from the animated movie.

  1. I got really excited when I saw the trailer for this new Beauty and the Beast movie! It’s one of my favorites and I love that they finally decide to do a live action remake. I think Emma Watson is perfect for the role.
