Character back to school backpacks are available everywhere this time of year, but do you know what you are getting? When you see these bags in the store, are you impressed with the quality? If you’re like me, you are far from impressed with the quality. Will you purchase them anyway? I did.
My oldest son went through more than four backpacks his first year of elementary school. I was floored each time he came home with a broken strap or large tear. I finally gave up and stopped buying him the bags he wanted because they didn’t last – they didn’t even last an entire semester!
The difference between the character backpacks you are finding locally, and the backpacks you will find at an official Disney Store, is durability. How so? Every backpack we have purchased from a Disney Store is still in use by my family today – several years after purchase. I can’t say that about any character bag purchased anywhere else.
