TELUS Emergency Profile is a valuable health tool

Telus Emergency profile

TELUS Emergency Profile is a secure online tool to help you organize all your medical information in one place. It is completely free, easy to use and is so important to have.

Just imagine if you or a member of your family had a medical emergency. Would you be able to remember all of the medical details? Wouldn’t you want to spend your time with your loved one instead of trying to locate the information? What if you were the one who was sick or injured and you were unable to communicate a drug allergy, specific diagnosis or who to contact?

My aunt recently collapsed and medical personnel had no idea she had diabetes or the type of medications she was taking. If that information had been immediately available, they could have saved valuable time and she could have avoided being hospitalized as long as she was.

When someone has a medical emergency and cannot communicate or remember vital information to be treated, a tool such as this can save their life.

  1. this sounds like a great website that i need to utilize! thanks for sharing.

  2. I’ve never heard of an emergency profile before, thanks for sharing!

  3. This sounds like a very beneficial tool. It’s good to have all medical information in one place where it’s easily accessible!

  4. I had not heard of this but sounds like it is a great idea… this would especially be helpful for my inlaws

  5. I like this for my son who is away at college.

  6. I can see how this would be completely beneficial. If something happened to me, I don’t think my husband remembers what i’m allergic to, or any of the medical conditions I have. It would definitely make it easier on him.

  7. This is cool, will have to share this with a few of my friends!! Great idea!!!

  8. This is a great idea – thanks for sharing. You are right, in times of emergency it would be really helpful to already have this info in one spot!

  9. This sounds like a great service especially for older and/or forgetful people. My dad is really bad at remembering what health problems even his own mom and dad had. I’ve sat in the room with him before as he’s told his doctor that nobody in his family had diabetes yet his mom did his entire life, lol. So I’d feel more confident knowing that I could put all the information in one place and then he just has to ‘pass it over’ to the doctor.

  10. great tool~~ thanks for sharing!
