Aacua Product Review – Splish, Splash, Now You’re Dry During the Bath

Before I had the Aacua by Maamam, bath time was quite the ordeal! I had to make sure I was wearing clothes I could afford to get drenched in, and I often made a mess of my floors lifting baby from her bath to the towel. Not anymore! Since I’ve been using this fabulous towel/apron/bathrobe, bath time has never been the same! Before Danica’s bath, I simply wear the Aacua like an apron, ensuring that my clothes remain dry throughout the bathing process, no matter how much my daughter splashes around! The Aacua is so intelligently designed that once bath time is over, it converts into a hooded towel without me having to remove it. I simply hold Danica against me and lift the bottom half of my “apron” over her head, miraculously converting the item into a towel for my baby!

Bath time is one of my favorite times of the day. My daughter loves it, and it makes me feel good to see her enjoying herself so much. But bath time can quickly turn into a dangerous event if a parent is not completely focused on their child’s safety. I love that the Aacua allows both my hands to be free and eliminates the need for me to turn my back for even a second to reach for a towel. Plus, the material is so soft and snuggly that I know my child is comfortable and cozy when she’s wrapped in it. There is no better feeling for me than seeing her clean, warm, and swaddled in her Aacua!

I was very lucky. I received so many wonderful, beautiful gifts for my baby shower. Adorable outfits, swaddle blankets, sleep sacks, and loads of shoes! As much as I fell in love with all these gifts, as my baby grew, it broke my heart that they quickly became too small for her. With each item I packed away, I wished she could have used it just a little bit longer. That’s what’s so great about the Aacua! It will grow along with my daughter! Now that she is still little, she loves being swaddled in it after her bath. However, when she outgrows the swaddle, the Aacua becomes a toddler-size bathrobe she can wear without tripping. Same warmth, same comfort, just a different way of using the same product for much longer than I can use most other baby items I received.

I know many of you are thinking by now that the concept is great, but that the Aacua may become worn out before your child has a chance to outgrow it. Have no fear! I have already washed the Aacua many times, and it looks just as great as the day I received it. It is made of such high-quality material that it hasn’t faded, thinned out, or lost any of its absorbency since I started using it, and it’s the only towel I use for my baby now, so it’s gone through quite a few washes!

I was so impressed with the Aacua that I became curious about Maamam, the company that makes it, so I conducted a little research on it. Turns out, they are a company founded by two moms, and they encourage parents with innovative, functional ideas that would make parenting easier to submit their ideas so they can help bring them to market. It made so much sense to me that the Aacua was a parent-inspired product, because it has made such a difference to bath time for me that I can’t believe I never thought of it before!
